FAQs

What should I bring to class?

We recommend that you bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water with you to class.  We do have a limited number of yoga mats available to borrow if needed.  You are welcome to bring any props that will support you in your practice.  We do have blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters available for use.

What should I wear to class?

Wear anything comfortable that allows you to move your body freely.  Socks are not recommended for classes with standing postures as they can cause you to slip on your mat.  We ask that shoes are not worn in the practice space – there is an area in the entryway where you can leave your shoes.

What should I do with my personal items during class?

There are cubbies and coat hooks in the entryway as well as a place for shoes. We ask that you keep shoes at the entryway. The door is locked during class so items will be secure.

Do I have to pre-register for classes?

Classes without registration at least 60 minutes before class starts will be canceled. We recommend pre-registering for class so you can secure your place as class sizes are limited. If you’re having trouble pre-registering you can call or text 984-833-7529.

I registered for a class but now I can’t make it. What should I do?

We understand that life happens. We ask that you cancel at least 1 hour prior to class start time. If you do not show for your scheduled class, or do not cancel at least 1 hour before class starts, you will be assessed a $10 no-show/late cancel fee. Please cancel classes online through the scheduling app.

I have an injury or medical issue. Can I practice yoga?

Please consult your health care provider if you have any concerns before starting a yoga practice.

Are there actually cats at the studio?

No, we do not have any animals at the studio. Images you see with cats and/or dogs at the studio are from special events with local animal rescues. We are always thorough about cleaning and are especially diligent after these events as we know people have allergies.
