What should I bring to class?
We recommend that you bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water with you to class. We do have yoga mats available to borrow if needed. You are welcome to bring any props that will support you in your practice. We have blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters available for use.
What should I wear to class?
Wear anything comfortable that allows you to move your body freely. Socks are not recommended for classes with standing postures as they can cause you to slip on your mat. We ask that shoes are not worn in the practice space – there is an area in the entryway where you can leave your shoes.
What should I do with my personal items during class?
There are cubbies and coat hooks in the entryway that you can use to store personal items. Please keep shoes in the entryway.
Do I have to pre-register for classes?
Classes without registration at least 60 minutes before class starts will be canceled. We recommend pre-registering for class so you can secure your place as class sizes are limited. If you’re having trouble registering, you can call or text 984-833-7529.
What should I do if I’m having issues registering for classes online?

I registered for a class but now I can’t make it. What should I do?
We understand that life happens. We ask that you try to cancel at least 1 hour prior to class start time. Please cancel classes online through the scheduling app. If you’re having trouble, you can call or text 984-833-7529.

I have an injury or medical issue. Can I practice yoga?
Please consult your health care provider if you have any concerns before starting a yoga practice.
I’m running late!
Classes begin promptly at their scheduled start time. Please make every effort to arrive to class on time. If you must arrive late, please be respectful of your fellow yogis and enter quietly. There is no late entry for events such as sound baths, meditations, and Yoga Nidra – plan on arriving a few minutes early to get settled.
Where are you located? I can’t find you.
We are located at 700 US-1, Ste 500 in Youngsville – we’re in the same building as MedAccess urgent care, next to the chiropractic office. Our building sign is NOT lit. The studio may look dark from the road during evening hours – if there is a class on the schedule, we are here! We keep the lights dim for cozy evening ambience. Directions are located here.
How will I know if class is canceled due to weather?
It happens rarely, but if class is canceled due to weather, you will be notified via email if you are registered for that class. We will also post on our Facebook and Instagram pages and the class will show “canceled” on the schedule. If you’re still unsure, contact Kim at 984-833-7529.
How does the Piper Moon Community Library work?
We love to read and know that many of you do too. Our community library is located in the studio – feel free to leave or take books or puzzles. All genres are welcome – books you leave do not have to be yoga or wellness related.
I don’t see my favorite class on the schedule. What happened?
Check in the scheduling app to see if you have any filters set – make sure you have “all classes” selected. Still not there? Contact Kim at 984-833-7529.
Scheduling/Vagaro FAQS
On April 30th, we transitioned our scheduling system from Schedulicity to Vagaro. This section will continue to be updated as we received more questions and answers. If your question isn’t addressed below, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kim at 984-833-7529 or at pipermoonyoga@gmail.com.
How do I access my account through Vagaro?
Sign in to the Vagaro app using the email and password that you used for Schedulicity. You do not need to create a new account with Vagaro. If you already had a Vagaro account, your information will merge as long as that account used the same email address that you used for Schedulicity. **Please do not sign in using Facebook, Google or Apple – use your Schedulicity or Vagaro log-in credentials. Will my information transfer to Vagaro?
Yes! All of your information should transfer from Schedulicity to Vagaro automatically. This includes your class passes, memberships, and class history. The only thing that may not have transferred is payment information – if you updated your payment info in the last few months (since February), you may be prompted to reenter it.
Why didn’t you receive my registration?
When you register for classes, you need to complete the checkout process all the way to the end where it says “BOOK”. Classes in your cart are not yet booked. You will receive an email confirmation when your booking is complete. You will not be charged for those classes until you show up for them and we check you in at the studio. If you have a class pass/package or membership, it will apply when we check you in.
My information is incorrect. Why and how do I change it?
Your information may be incorrect (name misspelling, address, etc.) if you already had information in Vagaro through another provider or business. You can easily update your profile directly in Vagaro.
Where can I view my upcoming appointments and classes? I can’t remember what I registered for.
On the Vagaro app, select Appointments from the menu on the bottom. You’ll see all upcoming classes and appointments.
I have a class pass/package or membership, but I see a balance in my cart when I register for classes.
We require a payment method to hold your reservation for class. You will not be charged for those classes until you show up for them and we check you in at the studio. If you have a class pass/package or membership, it will be applied at that time. The only time you would be charged during registration/checkout is if you purchase a new pass/package, membership, or gift card.
How do I purchase a class pass/package?
When you register for classes on Vagaro, you’ll see the option during “checkout” to add a package to your cart. You can also purchase a package here. Remember you will only pay for a package during checkout – you will not be charged for classes.
Can I purchase gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase gift cards here. Note that gift cards are now only available in $ amounts. They can be applied to packages, individual classes or in-studio merchandise.
How do I bookmark Piper Moon Yoga in Vagaro so it’s easier to access?
Head to our company page on Vagaro – you can search for us. Underneath “Reviews” you should see an option to “Bookmark”. You’ll need to head out of the app and refresh your screen, but the next time you open Vagaro, you should see your bookmarks
Where can I see how many classes are left on my pass?
On a mobile device, go to the Vagaro app and select your Profile on the bottom right of your screen. Scroll down and select “Packages”. From the web, log in to view your profile and select the tab for “Packages”.
